About Us

OUR STORY

Where the best of yesterday meets the best of today

Meeting Street is a local, Charlotte-based home builder bringing old world charm to new construction. We take pride in building on the classic traditions from old neighborhoods you might stroll through in Charleston, New Orleans, Boston or Savannah. All-brick designs, front elevation symmetry, garages and utilities in the back, private courtyards, town-style parks and open green spaces are just some of the classic design elements you'll find in our communities.

A Builder to Believe in

Meeting Street was established in 1996 and our mission has been to create a company that would strive to make a benchmark from which all other builders would measure. We are proud to boast competitive rates along with our unique eye for design and aesthetics. Our company approaches every situation and relationship with the highest level of honesty and integrity. We commit ourselves to becoming a leader in the home building industry with the highest degree of professionalism in the work area. With our established contractor relationships, we can create distinctive projects and assure complete customer satisfaction. We have a persistent quest to build it better, to exceed the customer's wants, needs, and expectations and to demonstrate that we truly are a builder to believe in.

FEATURED ON HGTV

Our Allston Model in
The Avenues at Ayrsley was featured

on HGTV on February 1, 2019.

We were thrilled to be contacted last fall after one of our model homes caught the eye of a producer for the show My Lottery Dream Home. The show is hosted by David Bromstad, an interior designer who meets lottery winners and helps them find the house of their dreams. He takes a list of their requirements and shows them the homes that match.

“We are big fans of HGTV so it was an honor to get a call from the show,” says Meeting Street founder, Joe Roy. “We are also very pleased with our townhomes in Ayrsley and wouldn’t miss the chance to give a tour to a national audience.”

The Meeting Street model home toured in the episode is located at
2333 Silver Crescent Drive in Charlotte. Interior decorating was done by Creative Home Stagers of Charlotte. The 1,966 square foot three-story townhome has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Its Ayrsley location is known for being pedestrian-friendly with great entertainment, shopping and dining just a stroll away.

Episode 607 of
My Lottery Dream Home aired on Friday, February 1 at 9:00 pm.
